New Delhi: The Indian men’s hockey team eye for its fifth title in the Asian Champions Trophy as the Men in Blue face China in the final on Tuesday at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir. India has been the only unbeaten side in the tournament thus far.
The Harmanpreet Singh-led side won all five of its matches in the league stage to finish top on the points table with 15 points, including a 2-1 nail-biting win over arch-rivals Pakistan in their last match. India thrashed South Korea 4-1 in the semi-final to enter the final.
According to senior hockey journalist K Arumugam, India leads the head-to-head record against China in the last two decades.
