New Delhi: The unpredictable weather in the Caribbean is keeping the fans guessing ahead of the T20 World Cup semi-final between India and England. Guyana rains have been playing a cat-and-mouse game since morning but the latest news coming in from the Providence Stadium is good. The day started with heavy downpours on the Caribbean Island, instilling a fear of washout in the minds of fans.

Media persons to cricket experts inside the stadium started sharing pictures of the condition of the stadium after the heavy rains. There was an 89 per cent chance of rain during the match and early signs indicated the most likely outcome.

But the true nature of unpredictable Caribbean weather came to the fore an hour later as the sun started shining brightly and eventually the covers went off.

What is the cut-off time for the IND vs ENG match?

With no reserve day in store for India vs England’s second-semi-final match, the cut-off time is extended to 250 minutes. That means there is an extra four-hour period for the match to start in case the game doesn’t start inside the stipulated time.
