New Delhi: Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to lock horns in the mother of all battles in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025. The much-anticipated clash will be played at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, February 23. The stakes will be high for both teams as it will be a do-or-die clash for hosts Pakistan, who are on the verge of facing an early exit from the tournament.
Pakistan suffered a crushing 60-run defeat at the hands of New Zealand in their opening game of the tournament in Karachi on Thursday which also damaged their net run rate. Pakistan are currently languishing at the bottom of the Group A table with no points and a net run rate of -1.200. India, on the other hand, got off to a perfect start in the multi-nation tournament with a comprehensive 6-wicket victory against Bangladesh in their opening game of the tournament.
