New Delhi: The opening day of the fourth Test match between India and Australia not only witnessed action on the field but off it too. Indian fans, who had flocked to the stadium in large numbers, got involved in a heated argument with the Khalistan supporters over chanting anti-India slogans outside the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Thursday.
All the Indian fans confronted the Khalistan supporters for allegedly disrespecting the national flag and the nation. A group of pro-Khalistan supporters had gathered outside the stadium in the morning and they were seen waving Khalistani flags and shouting slogans against India. In a video which was widely circulated across social media platforms, the Khalistani supporters could be seen wrapping the Indian flag into a football and playing with it.
