New Delhi: Indian Railways has released a Special Train List of one-way rakes from UP and Bihar connecting these states to other states in the North. The measure has been taken to address the passenger rush during the ongoing holiday season. The Indian Railways has released trains on six routes to ease passenger congestion.
Special train names, routes and timings
The Indian Railways is running summer special trains on the following routes:
05184 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Special Train route
The Indian Railways Special Train List includes the 05184 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Train. Indian Railways will run a 16-sleeper class coach train which will start from Gorakhpur on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:15 am and reach Kolkata at 04:00 am on Sunday.
The train route is as follows:

05186 Gomti Nagar-Howrah Special Train timings
The Indian Railways will run the 05186 Gomti Nagar-Howrah Special via the following route:
Gonda
Basti
Gorakhpur
Siwan
Chhapra
Hajipur
Shahpur Patori
Barauni
Jhajha Asansol
The special train with 12 sleeper class coaches and 2 general coaches will start from Gomti Nagar at 5:30 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 and reach Howrah at 03:30 pm on Sunday.
05562 Amritsar-Darbhanga Special Train route and timings
The Indian Railways Special Train List includes the 05562 Amritsar-Darbhanga special train scheduled to leave from Amritsar on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 04:25 am and reach Darbhanga at 11:00 am on Monday, via Delhi, Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Hajipur and Samastipur. The train comprises 14 sleeper class coaches and 02 general class coaches.

05561 Darbhanga-Amritsar Special Train
Scheduled Departure: June 21 2024 (Friday) at 08:20 pm from Darbhanga.
Route: Via Samastipur, Hajipur, Gorakhpur, Moradabad, Delhi.
Arrival: Expected at Amritsar at 01:25 am on Sunday.
Composition: Includes 14 sleeper class coaches and 02 general class coaches.
05180 Mau-Kolkata Special Train Route
The train’s scheduled Departure is on June 21 2024 (Friday) at 05:15 PM from Mau.
Route: Via Chapra, Hajipur, Samastipur, Barauni, Jhajha.
Arrival: Expected at Kolkata at 10:00 am on Saturday.
Composition: Includes 19 sleeper class coaches.
05182 Varanasi City-Howrah Special TRain timings
Scheduled Departure: June 21 2024 (Friday) at 08:15 PM from Varanasi City.
Route: Via Ballia, Hajipur, Shahpur Patori, Barauni, Jhajha.
Arrival: Expected at Howrah at 06:30 pm on Saturday.
Composition: Includes 19 sleeper class coaches.
