New Delhi: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ended Gujarat Titans’ (GT) remarkable winning streak in the Indian Premier League 2025 with a six wicket victory at the Ekana stadium. Chasing a competitive score of 181, the Super Giants (186/4) crossed the finish line in 19.3 overs to earn their fourth victory in six matches. Gujarat suffered their second loss in the edition.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram were the torchbearers for the Titans in the chase with scores of 61 and 58 respectively. Ayush Badoni also contributed 28 runs while skipper Rishabh Pant scored 21 runs. For the visitors, Prasidh Krishna was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets while Rashid Khan and Washington Sundar also contributed with a wicket each.

Gill, Sudharsan shine for GT

Earlier, captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan struck half centuries to help Gujarat Titans post 180 for 6 in their Indian Premier League match against Super Giants. Gill made 60 off 38 balls while Sudharsan hit 56 off 37 deliveries after GT were invited to bat. The duo stitched 120 runs for the opening wicket before LSG pulled things back with multiple strikes in quick succession which led to the Titans to a batting collapse.

Apart from these two players, Sherfane Rutherford contributed with 22 runs while the rest of the batters fell like a pack of cards. For LSG, Ravi Bishnoi and Shardul Thakur took two wickets apiece, while Avesh Khan and Digvesh Rathi got one each.
