New Delhi: Cody Rhodes has finally shared an update on his physical condition after a tough ladder match against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble 2025. Cody has proven himself as a champion ever since he won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40.
He engaged in the tough ladder match against Kevin Owens at the 2025 Royal Rumble and both wrestlers suffered multiple injuries during the match. Cody retained his championship at the end of the match. Owens was helped by the WWE officials at the end of the ladder match, while Rhodes walked out by himself.
But it was very clear that he had suffered multiple injuries during the intense match, which was confirmed by backstage interviewer Jackie Redmond. Now, Rhodes has provided an update on his physical condition.

Cody Rhodes did not attend the Royal Rumble 2025 post-show press conference after sustaining the injuries. A few days after the event, he took to his Instagram to provide an update on his physical condition and said that two days after taking a complete rest, he is feeling good and ready for the Memphis.
“2 days in bed essentially but feeling good and ready for Memphis! Also, since I got through it (ladder) in one piece I got to keep the best promise..” Cody wrote on Instagram Story.

He went through some of the most dangerous moments in the match when Kevin Owens dropped him on his neck from the ladder. Rhodes is now aiming towards the road to WrestleMania as he expected to walk into the mega event as the Undisputed WWE Champion. He is likely to feature in the show’s main event match.
The 2025 Royal Rumble champion Jey Uso is not expected to pick Rhodes as his opponent. This is because of some reports stating that WWE is planning big match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
