New Delhi: Explosive India batter Rinku Singh is reportedly getting married to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj, and the wedding is expected to be a grand affair scheduled to be held in Varanasi. Multiple media reports have claimed that the two families have met with each other and have finalised the wedding date and its venue, which will be preceded by a ring ceremony scheduled for this month.
Earlier in January, Rinku and Priya’s marriage speculations made the headlines after the latter’s father, Tufani Saroj (SP MLA), confirmed that his family held “meaningful talks” with Rinku’s father regarding the wedding. More fuel has been added to the rumours fire as recent reports claim that the two will be tying the knot on November 18, at Hotel Taj in Varanasi, and their engagement will take place on June 8 at a seven-star hotel in Lucknow.
Sources have revealed that Rinku and Priya will have the company of their close family members in the ring ceremony, while in the wedding, several politicians, film stars, and industrialists will reportedly attend the wedding in November, which will be conducted in a traditional manner.
Engagement rumours
Before this development, there had been rumours of the two having been engaged. However, Priya’s father, while speaking to India TV Digital, rubbished the speculations regarding their engagement. He did confirm that there have been talks between the two families, but the engagement had not yet happened. For the uninitiated, Tufani Saroj is a three-time Member of Parliament and current MLA from Uttar Pradesh.
“Priya is in Thiruvananthapuram at the moment for some work and no, her engagement with Rinku Singh has not happened. Yes, the talks are on between the families but the news of engagement is completely wrong,” Tufani had previously told India TV Digital.
Who is Priya Saroj?
It is noteworthy that Priya is the youngest woman MP of India. She had won the Machhlishahr constituency seat at the age of 25 in the Lok Sabha Elections. Besides her political career, she is also a lawyer by profession, having practiced at the Supreme Court of India as well.
Priya completed her schooling from the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi and graduated from Delhi University with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, also completing her Bachelor of Law (LLB) at Amity University, Noida.
Wedding rumours of Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj ran rife in January this year when the latter’s family confirmed holding “meaningful talks” with Rinku’s father regarding the two’s marriage.
