New Delhi: The schedule for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 playoffs was announced on Monday. The playoffs will start on March 29 and the semifinal stage will end on April 7 although the date for the final is yet to be confirmed.
There will be six teams in the playoffs, as has been the case since the 2022-23 ISL season, wherein four teams (teams which finish from 3rd to 6th spot on the playoffs) will compete in the one-legged knockout round to secure the semifinal spot. The top two teams finishing on the points table will automatically enter into the semifinal.
The playoffs will start on March 29 and 30 with the semifinals to kick off in the first week of April. The semifinals will be played in a two-legged affair with the team with the most goals across the two games will advance to the final. The first leg of the semifinal are scheduled for April 2 and 3 while the returning leg will be played on April 6 and 7.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant recently won the ISL Shield and the Kolkata-based club, with 52 points from 22 ISL league games, is on the pole position. FC Goa and Jamshedpur FC are in contention to secure the second direct spot of the semifinal.

Eight teams remain in contention for a playoffs spot with Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, Mumbai City FC, Northeast United FC, and Jamshedpur FC being the top runners to make the playoffs. 11 out of the 13 teams still remain in a position to seal the playoffs spot by bringing all the mathematical equations to the table. Hyderabad FC (17 points from 21 matches) and Mohammedan SC (11 points from 21 matches) have already been eliminated from the playoffs race.
