New Delhi: Kai Asakura, a Japanese fighter all set to make his UFC debut at the UFC 310 event. The UFC 310 pay-per-view is the last event of UFC’s big event in 2024. The newbie gets the title shot in his debut fight against UFC Flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja at the T-Mobil arena in Las Vegas on December 8, Sunday.
Asakura has an impressive MMA record of 21-4 and he has 7 stoppage victories in his last 9 fights. He has great technique and speed and with his capabilities, UFC president Dana White gave him a title shot straight away.
Asakura is new to the flyweight division as he fought his majority of fights in the Bantamweight division. He fought in the RIZIN organisation for the past 7 years and now he’ll be competing in one of the biggest MMA organisation UFC. After seeing Pantoja’s dangerous grappling, Asakura is training hard with UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili to tackle Pantoja’s grappling.
Meanwhile, Pantoja has proved himself in the UFC by defending his flyweight title twice. He showed great durability in his fights as his last three fights have been a five-round brawl with Brandon Morena, Brandon Royval, and Steve Erceg.
Japanese fighter can make history by becoming UFC champion in his first fight and the fight will be worth watching as the two best flyweights in the world will collide against each other in the UFC 310 event.

Belal Muhammad was set to defend his welterweight title against undefeated Shavakat Rakhmonov but Belal pulled out from the fight due to an injury. Ian Garry replaced him and will fight against Rakhmonov.
Both fighters are undefeated in their career and it will be a number 1 contender fight for the Welterweight title. The fight of Rakhmonov will be the main event of UFC 310 event but now Pantoja vs Asakura will headline the event.
