New Delhi: Gajendra Pratap Singh has been appointed as the Executive Vice President – Corporate Affairs of JSW Energy. The appointment has been effective from October 7, 2024. Earlier, Singh was associated as the Joint President at Shree Cement Limited. He had previously worked with JSW Steel for a year. His appointment comes at a crucial juncture as JSW Energy is currently increasing its focus on renewable energy and is working towards increasing its capacity expansion plans.
Gajendra Singh has rich experience of over 20 years in public policy and corporate affairs. He has experience in consulting, IT, finance, technology, CSR, and media and corporate communications and manufacturing.
Earlier, he held senior positions at Shree Cement, JSW Group, Reliance Capital, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He worked as Senior Vice President, Group Head, Director, and Chief Corporate Officer at various major companies.
During his stint at JSW Group, Gajendra Singh was given the responsibilities for strategising, public policy, and government relations. He was given the responsibility to manage mutual funds, insurance, and securities businesses at Reliance Capital. He was appointed as the Public Policy Leader at PwC for seven years.
