New Delhi: As excitement builds for much much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, a light-hearted moment between paparazzi and star Indian batter Virat Kohli has captured fans’ attention.
Kohli was spotted at the Mumbai airport ahead of India’s three-match Test series against New Zealand. He had a playful interaction with a paparazzi which has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Kohli was seen leaving the airport and a paparazzi urged the star batter to light up the upcoming BGT (Border-Gavaskar Trophy) “BGT mein aag lagani hai”. To this, Kohli had a surprised reaction and asked him “Kisme? (In what?)”. The paparazzi then said again “BGT mein (in BGT)”. Kohli then nodded and got inside the car.

Kohli missed five-match home Test series against England earlier this year because of the birth of his second child. He returned to the Test team during the two-match series against Bangladesh but failed to make impactful performances with the bat. He will remain fully available for the New Zealand and Australia series and will look to score a lot of runs for the team.
Kohli’s record against Australia
The star Indian batter has an impressive record against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar trophy. In 25 Test matches, he has scored 2042 runs at an average of 47.49. In Australia, Kohli has scored 1352 runs at an average of 54 in 13 Test matches, including six hundreds and four fifties.
The first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is scheduled to start on November 22 in Parth, followed by a day-night Test match at Adelaide Oval from December 6 to 10. The third match of the series will be played in Brisbane on December 14 while the historic Boxing-day Test will be played at the MCG on December 26. The last and final match of the series will start on January 3 in Sydney.
Virat Kohli had a hilarious reaction when a paparazzi asked him to set the Border Gavaskar Trophy on fire in Australia. Kohli will be the key player for Team India during the series down under, which will start in November.
