New Delhi: India spinner Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony held in Lucknow on Wednesday. The ceremony was attended by family and close friends. Several cricketers from Uttar Pradesh, including Rinku Singh, were also present at the event.
The engagement took place at a venue in Lucknow, where the couple exchanged rings. Vanshika hails from Shyam Nagar and works with LIC. They have known each other since childhood, and their bond culminated in this special moment. The engagement has drawn attention from fans and well-wishers.

Kuldeep recently represented Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), where DC finished in fifth position in the points table, winning seven out of 14 matches. The 30-year-old had a good season, taking 15 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 7.07.
He has been a key player for Team India in all three formats and played a crucial role in the title-winning campaigns in the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy. Kuldeep has played 13 Test matches and picked up 56 wickets. He has played 113 ODI matches and took 181 wickets, while in 40 T20I matches, he has claimed 69 wickets.
He is part of the squad for the five-match series against England and will soon leave for the UK. The five-match Test series between India and England is scheduled to be played from June 20 to August 4. The team is expected to leave for England next week.
