SM Caen had an average season in 2022/23, finishing sixth in the Ligue 2 points table. It is currently owned by American asset company, Oaktree Capital Management. The company is popular for holding the ownership of Italian football giant, Inter Milan.

Kylian Mbappe has a whole decade of football in front of him and securing ownership rights at such an age sparks up the family’s intention to go into franchise club management in the near future.

Will we see Kylian Mbappe as the CEO of SM Caen while playing for Real Madrid, or will we see the family turn into a major player in the football market in the years to come? Such questions can be answered only by the Mbappe family. The reports are intriguing and open a sparkling conversation of Kylian Mbappe’s life after retirement.
