Washington: Former United States President Donald Trump safely survived the assassination attempt during his Pennsylvania rally with minor injuries due to the divine intervention of Lord Jagannath, claimed ISKCON, a global Hindu spiritual movement.
Radharamn Das, Vice President and Spokesperson at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), in his post on X said, “Yes, for sure it’s a divine intervention. Exactly 48 years ago, Donald Trump saved the Jagannath Rathayatra festival. Today, as the world celebrates the Jagannath Rathayatra festival again, Trump was attacked, and Jagannath returned the favor by saving him.”
Further recalling the previous incident in 1976, Das said that Trump helped ISKCON devotees in organising Rathayatra by providing his train yard for the construction of the raths for free. And as the world celebrates the ninth day, the terrible attack on him and his narrow escape show Jagannath’s intervention.
“In July 1976, Donald Trump helped ISKCON devotees organize Rathayatra by providing his train yard for the construction of the raths for free. Today, as the world celebrates the 9-day Jagannath Rathayatra festival, this terrible attack on him and his narrow escape show Jagannath’s intervention. The first chariot procession of the Lord of the Universe Mahaprabhu Jagannath kicked off on the streets of NYC in 1976, with assistance from the then 30-year-old emerging real-estate mogul in United States of America – Donald Trump.”
On weekends, during a rally in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump was attacked when a shooter fired multiple shots.
“Amidst the incident, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee took his social media platform and said, “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong when I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through my skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”
The shooter was shot dead by the Secret Service officials shortly after he fired shots. The attacker has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
An investigation into the matter is underway to identify the motive behind the attack.
