New Delhi: Entertainment during a cricket match does not only take place on the field as fans sitting in the stands also provide some thrilling entertainment during the course of a contest. The Big Bash League in Australia has a history of providing power-packed drama and it continues to entertain fans. Something of similar sort happened in the match 12 between the Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat on Thursday.
The exciting BBL contest gave a moment to cherish as it had got nothing to do with the game of cricket but everything to do with pure love. A spectator sitting in the stands grabbed the perfect chance of proposing to his girlfriend during the game and the scene became even more exciting when she accepted his proposal. When the Perth Scorchers were flying high with the bat, a guy in the crowd dropped to one knee and proposed to his girlfriend.
The guy put a ring in his girlfriends finger and the couple then went on to share a kiss in the stands. The entire focus of the fans present at the stand shifted towards the couple and loud cheer and clapping was what followed, leaving the match in the backdrop. The cameras caught the lovely moment, and it was instantly put on the big screen.

Meanwhile, Perth Scorchers proved to be a better unit as they defeated Brisbane Heat by 33 runs at Perth. Batting first, they accumulated a score of 165/6 in stipulated 20 overs and were successful in stopping the Heat at 132 in 19.4 overs. Nick Hobson received the Player of the Match award for his fiery show of 47 runs off just 16 deliveries, which included five maximums and two boundaries.
