Manchester United unveil Old Trafford-inspired home kit for 2025-26 season

New Delhi: Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2025-26 season, which is designed to showcase the essence of the club’s identity in its purest form. The latest kit takes inspiration from the club’s iconic stadium, Old Trafford and its nickname ‘The Theatre of Dreams’.

The Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League table after a disastrous season under both Erik ten Hag and successor Ruben Amorim, losing a total of 18 matches in the 2024-25 season.

The club also suffered a 1-0 defeat in the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur, meaning they missed out on European football next season, but the club will be hopeful to turn things around under Amorim in their new strip. The new Adidas kit is influenced by their iconic Old Trafford stadium, with an “abstract sleeve graphic” symbolising elements of the famous tunnel, pitch and stands.

The new home kit features a V-neck collar with black edges and a white stripe running through the middle, and this detail is also visible on the edges of the sleeves. The kit also has black stripes running down the shoulders and the words “Theatre of Dreams” on the back of the shirt.

What’s the price of new Manchester United’s home kit?

Adidas senior Design Director Juergen Rank said they wanted to design a kit that paid tribute to the club’s DNA, playing on their iconic red colours.

“The colour red is fundamental to the club’s DNA. There have been many different expressions of it over the years and for this season we wanted to do something a little different, using the sleeves as a canvas. The abstract graphic stays true to the club’s DNA while providing an innovative look at feel to an otherwise classy and classic jersey” Juergen said.

The new home kit is available to purchase for Rs 5,999 starting from today on selected Adidas retail stores and online at the Adidas website.
