Tel Aviv: A massive fire broke out in Tel Aviv engulfing an office building along with dozens of cars parked nearby leading to a major chaos in the area. According to the reports, the fire, which broke out on Chai Adam Street in Tel Aviv, spread rapidly gripping the neighbouring garages and an office building, the Dan District Fire and Rescue Authority reported.
As per the reports, the fire has been brought under control. Several vehicles were gutted in the fire, said the sources.
It is being reported that as many as ten firefighting teams were operating at the scene under the command of Chief Inspector Moti Yehezkel. Four teams initially arrived at the scene, and six more teams were dispatched later.
The information regarding the fire was received at around 2.30 pm, when the Dan District’s 102 emergency center received calls about a tree caught on fire in southern Tel Aviv.
The commander of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa station, Deputy Commissioner Avi Yehuda, the station’s deputy commander, Deputy Commissioner Yaron Korolitsky, and the district operations officer, Deputy Commissioner Meirav Samet, were at the scene.
