New Delhi: It is truly astonishing what this man can do, as Mohamed Salah registers his 100th assist in a Liverpoo jersey. Cody Gakpo was the scorer of the goal that brought the ten-men Liverpool back on levelled terms after a shaky start against Fulham. It was Luiz Diaz, who passed the ball for Salah from left to right across the edge of the 18-yard box. After settling the ball with a touch, the Egyptian king entered the room and curled a beautiful cross to the far post, where Gakpo dived past Leno with a close-range header to put Liverpool on levelled terms.
With this assist, Salah also got his ninth assist of the season. Ever since he made his move to Anfield, he has been a prolific player for the Reds as the 32-year-old has already scored over 200 goals for them. Goalscoring isn’t the only thing he is good at, as he has proven tonight and all this while that he is a more than decent playmaker on the pitch.

The hosts were hit early, as it was Andreas Pereira who put the Cottagers in front with an incredible acrobatic finish in just the 11th minute of the game. To make matters worse, Andrew Robertson was shown a red card just six minutes after the opener was scored, which meant Liverpool had to continue the rest of the game with ten men. However, there was some relief after Salah’s subperb ball found Cody Gakpo who scored the equaliser early into the second half.
Later on, It was Rodrigo Muniz of Fulham who put the visitors up again, but another strike from Diogo Jota levelled the score for Liverpool and at the final whistle, the score remained 2-2 at Anfield, something that Marcos Silva and Fulham will be extremely proud of. However, it might as well be a bitter sweet moment for them as the fans did expect more than a point after the early red card for Robertson. If we talk about Liverpool, now the gap between them and second placed Chelsea is just five points, which means they need hope that Chelsea somehow manage to slip against Brentford tomorrow.
