The G7 summit, attended by leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, is taking place from June 13 to 15 in the southern Italian region of Puglia (Apulia). Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India has also departed for the summit, marking his first foreign visit since winning a third term in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
