New Delhi: Gray-Nicholls, an English sports gear and clothing brand, had to take it from the Indian cricket fans for their cheeky dig on stalwart Mahendra Singh Dhoni on social media. MSD, who is known for his excellent and sharp skills on the field, is one of the highly respected cricketers worldwide and his fanbase is one of the most loyal amongst all, who won’t like anything against the ex-India skipper.
It all happened over a Facebook post from the sporting company where it posted pictures of wicketkeepers Jaime Smith and Joshua Da Silva using their keeping gloves in the ongoing England vs West Indies Test series. Along with the pictures, the brand wrote, “Are you even a wicketkeeper if you don’t use Gray-Nicolls? Great to see Jamie Smith and Josh Da Silva keeping wickets in the ongoing Test series. Nature is healing.”
One fan from India was left surprised by this oversight, and firmly replied to the brand in the comment section – “Do you know a cricketer named M S DHONI?” The sportswear company posted a smart reply, that was more of a cheeky dig on the Indian legend – “not heard of them.”
As it turned out, the brand must have wished they hadn’t posted such a response as it highly irked the hardcore MS Dhoni fans and it has been drawing huge flak on the internet ever since.

Why is MSD an all-time great?
