Obama’s Half-Brother Says Will Vote for Trump, But Not The First Time

New Delhi: Malik Obama, the half-brother of former US President Barack Obama, in a message to Trump’s son said that he would vote for Trump in November.

This is not the first time that Malik Obama has shown support towards Donald Trump; during 2016 elections also, he had vouched to vote for Trump.

‘I Will Be Voting For Trump In November’: Barack Obama’s Half-Brother

After the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, Barack Obama’s half-brother sent a message to the family members of Trump and conveyed to them that he would be voting for Trump in the upcoming US Presidential Elections.

The first post by Malik Obama was directed to Trump’s younger son Eric.

The second post was addressed to Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

Malik Obama also extended best wishes to Trump’s wife, Melania Trump.

When Malik Obama Said He Would Vote For Trump In 2016

Malik Obama had openly supported Donald Trump and has vouched to vote for him in the 2016 Presidential Elections as well, he had planned on voting for Trump. 

He supported Trump’s policies back then and while talking about him to Reuters, he had said, “He appeals to me and also I think that he is down to earth and he speaks from the heart and he is not trying to be politically correct. He’s just straight-forward.”

Malik Obama’s Relationship With Half-Brother Barack Obama

Malik, who has a dual citizenship of the US and Kenya, had a wonderful relationship with Barack Obama at one point; he was also Obama’s best man at his wedding with Michelle Obama.

In his self-published memoir titled Big Bad Brother From Kenya, Malik Obama alleged that his half-brother had abandoned his family when they needed him the most.

According to Malik’s book, their fallout happened over the foundation they had established together in memory of their father.

In an interview, Malik went on to call Barack Obama a ‘snob’ because ‘he got rich’.
