New Delhi: Noman Ali has created history in the ongoing second Test match between Pakistan and West Indies at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday, January 25. He became the first Pakistani spinner to take a hat trick in Test cricket.
The 38-year-old left-arm spinner achieved this milestone during the opening day of the ongoing second Test. Noman opened his wicket account by dismissing West Indies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite in front of the wickets on the second ball of the 10th over.
Noman removed Ali Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach and Kevni Sinclair to complete his hat-trick in the 12th over. Babar Azam took a brilliant low catch at gully to ensure Sinclair’s edge was caught and Noman completed his hat-trick.

Noman became only the fifth Pakistan bowler to complete a hat-trick in the longest format of the game. Before Noman, Naseem Shah took a hat-trick in a Test match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi in 2020.
