New Delhi: Swapnil Kusale brought home India’s third medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics after clinching a bronze medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions. Kusale, who was in the fifth spot after the Kneeling and Prone positions raised his game when it mattered the most and delivered the goods in the standing position to claim third position on the podium.
It was a historic medal for the Indian contingent as Kusale claimed India’s first-ever medal in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions shooting event at the Olympics. After a drought of 12 years, Indian shooters have made the country proud by claiming India’s all three of India’s medals in Paris so far.
