New Delhi: The Pakistan men’s hockey team was in the spotlight during the Asian Champions Trophy final between India and hosts China played at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir city on Tuesday.
Just after winning the bronze medal playoff match against South Korea with a commanding 5-2 win, Pakistan hockey players were spotted holding Chinese flags in the stand as China and India were involved in an intense game of the title clash.

Jugraj Singh scores to hand India fifth continental cup
Indian drag-flicker Jugraj Singh scored in the final quarter after getting an assist from captain Harmanpreet Singh. It was a rare field goal from the 27-year-old defender to help the reigning champions break the deadlock after toiling on the field for nearly 50 minutes. Some rock-solid defence from the Men in Blue in the dying minutes even though China took off their goalkeeper to field an extra outfield player.
India won its fifth Asian Champions Trophy since the continental tournament was started in 2011. India are the most successful team with five titles with Pakistan being the next to hold three.
