Raiding trio of Patna Pirates outsmarts Bengal Warriorz

Devank Dalal (15) and Ayan Lohchab (11) scored Super 10s to secure an overwhelming victory for the Patna Pirates in their 10th PKL match of this season. Sandeep ably supported the young duo in the raiding department, plundering eight points from 11 raids while Deepak was the best defender for the three-time PKL champions tonight with five tackle points. The clinical show was put against the vast experience of Maninder Singh and Fazel Atrachali with the two experience players lacking fire in their respective departments.

In the other match of the day, Jaipur Pink Panthers Arjun Deshwal was one point shy of his Super 10, but the 25-year-old raider became the third player this season to complete 100 points in the PKL after Devank Dalal and Ashu Malik (Dabang Delhi KC). Arjun’s impressive consistency on the mat helped Pink Panthers inflict the ‘All Out’ on Gujarat Giants in the second half, which was a decisive point of the match.
