New Delhi: Banks are on a hiking spree when it comes to FD rates since the 6.50 per cent repo rate has prompted them to raise money from retail deposits among other means. No certain banks are offering FD returns of up to 8.75 per cent per annum on certain tenures on deposits worth up to Rs 3 crore.

Axis Bank FD rates

Axis bank offers 7.2 per cent returns to general depositors on deposits worth less than Rs 3 crore for 17-18 months tenure
The highest interest rate for senior citizens is 7.7 per cent, offered for deposits of 5-10 years tenure

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank FD rates

Ujjivan SFB offers the highest rate of return on 12 months’ tenure deposits worth less than Rs 3 crore at 8.25 per cent for general depositors
Ujjivan SFB offers8,75 per cent returns on FDs of 12 months tenure to senior citizens

ICICI Bank FD rates

ICICI Bank customers can earn up to 7.2 per cent returns on FDs of 15 months-2 year tenures, the highest for general depositors.
Senior citizens can enjoy up to 7.75 per cent FD rates on tenures of 15-18 months with ICICI Bank.

Punjab & Sindh Bank FD rates

The lender is offering up to 7.3 per cent returns on FDs of 666 days to general depositors.
Senior citizens can earn up to 7,8 per cent interest on similar tenure FDs with Punjab and Sindh Bank.

Bank of India FD rates

The Bank of India offers up to 7.,3 per cent FD rates on tenures of 666 days to general depositors.
Senior citizens’ deposits up to Rs 3 crore can earn up to 7.8 per cent returns on 666-day tenure FDs.

IndusInd Bank FD rates

The lender offers 7.75 per cent FD rate on tenures ranging from 1 year to 1 year 3 months. This FD rate is also applicable to other tenures of above 1-year duration meant for general depositors.
Senior citizens can earn up to 8.25 per cent FD rate on deposits of 1 year to 1 year 3 months.
