New Delhi: Paris Saint-Germain delivered a performance for the ages in Munich, demolishing Inter Milan 5-0 to secure their first-ever European crown. The French champions were in complete control from the first whistle and never looked back with Desire Doue stealing the show with a goal and an assist before the break.
PSG hit the ground running and attacked Inter with relentless energy. Just 12 minutes in, the 19-year-old Doué made his mark by darting into space and squaring a simple ball for Achraf Hakimi to tap home against his former club. That opener stunned Inter as they were still trying to settle into the game.
Doue’s night got even better just eight minutes later as he finished off a rapid counter-attack. With this goal, PSG were firmly in the driver’s seat with the score 2-0 lead at half time.

Second-half rout seals historic win
If Inter had any hope of a comeback, it was quickly extinguished after the break. Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha, and Doue linked up beautifully in the 60th minute, with Doue firing home his second of the night to make it 3-0. PSG fans could already sense history in the making and started to celebrate.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a fourth minutes later, beating the offside trap and slotting past Sommer to continue his fantastic season. Inter’s defence was in disarray, and the travelling PSG supporters were in full voice.
The record books were rewritten when teenager Mayulu netted PSG’s fifth of the night as he became the club’s youngest scorer in a Champions League final. His goal capped a remarkable evening, sealing the biggest winning margin in a final since Milan crushed Barcelona in 1994.
For the first time in history…
