Punjab Kings re-sign Arshdeep Singh for Rs. 18 crore at IPL 2025 mega auction

New Delhi: Punjab Kings (PBKS) took back star India pacer Arshdeep Singh at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega-auction, exercising their right to match (RTM) option and shedding a massive Rs. 18 crore to bag the World Cup winner. Arshdeep, who entered the auction with a base price of Rs. 2 crore, was the first player of the evening to go under the hammer.

Arshdeep saw himself triggering a bidding war between the franchises that was started by Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The five-time IPL champions ultimately pulled out as the bid crossed Rs. 7.25 crore and the other franchises continued their fight for the left-arm pacer. The bidding crossed Rs. 10 crore and it all got heated up.
