The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has recently turned 90, and to mark the occasion, the RBI has come up with a college students’ quiz known as the RBI 90 Quiz. This will be a national event beginning with online auditions and then progressing through different stages to state championships where the best performers will be selected to form a national team.
RBI Quiz: Rs 10 lakh prize
The quiz was presented by Shaktikanta Das, the Governor of RBI, on August 20, 2024, inviting students to broaden their knowledge about the RBI and the financial world. The purpose is to enhance students’ understanding of financial issues and promote the safe and responsible usage of digital finance.
Participants can win big! The first prize is ₹10 lakh, second and third position is ₹8 lakh and ₹6 lakh respectively. At the zonal level, the winners can get ₹5 lakh, ₹4 lakh, and ₹3 lakh for the first three ranks. At the state level, prizes are ₹2 lakh, ₹1. 5 lakh, and ₹1 lakh for the first three.
RBI Quiz: Who can participate?
The quiz targets undergraduate students who have not reached 25 years of age by September 1, 2024 (those born after September 1, 1999). To qualify you must be studying at a college in India and there is no entry fee. Registration is from August 20 to September 17. This quiz will be in the area of current affairs, history, literature, sports, economy, and finance, as well as other general knowledge-based questions.
