REVEALED! WWE NXT’s new faction unmasked at Vengeance Day 2025

New Delhi: For weeks, NXT fans had been wondering about the identity of a mysterious faction that had been teased through eerie video clips. These short segments showed four masked figures lurking in the shadows, but no clear hints were given about who they were or what their intentions might be. That all changed at NXT Vengeance Day 2025 when this new group made their long-awaited debut, making a statement not once, but twice during the event.

Their first attack came after Fraxiom successfully defended their NXT Tag Team Titles against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. Just as both teams were showing mutual respect, four masked men stormed the ring and took them all down in a brutal ambush.

Then, later in the night, the same group set their sights on NXT Champion Oba Femi, attacking him after he retained his title in a triple-threat match against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. The faction lifted Oba into the air and delivered a devastating powerbomb, leaving the champion laid out in the ring.

While their motives remain unclear, the identities of these attackers have now been revealed. The group consists of Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars, four rising stars looking to make their mark on NXT in a major way.

Check out the men behind the masks: Will it enjoy The Shield’s success or Retribution’s failure?

The first attack saw the masked group ambush Fraxiom, Josh Briggs, and Yoshiki Inamura after their NXT Tag Team Championship match. While the commentary team name-dropped Dion Lennox and Cutler James, the other two—Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars—were not officially identified on air.

Their second attack had an even bigger impact, as they assaulted NXT Champion Oba Femi moments after he had defeated Grayson Waller and Austin Theory to retain his title. Two members of the group lifted Oba in the air before the other two powerbombed him to the mat. This attack puts them directly in the path of the reigning champion, setting the stage for a major confrontation in the weeks ahead.

Dion Lennox seems to be the most prominent figure in this group. He has been featured on NXT TV since 2023, known for his book-lover persona and involvement in a romantic storyline. Before wrestling, he played college football at Oregon State and briefly signed with the Los Angeles Rams.

Osiris Griffin, real name Josh Black, is another former football player, having played as a defensive lineman for Syracuse University. He caught WWE’s attention during a 2023 tryout and has since competed at NXT live events.

Cutler James, real name Jonah Niesenbaum, comes from an amateur wrestling background at Duke University. He has appeared on NXT Level Up and in dark matches but has not been featured in a major storyline until now.

Saquon Shugars, formerly known as Lucky Ali, is the most experienced of the four. A seven-year wrestling veteran, he has competed in AEW, ROH, NJPW, GCW, and CZW before signing with WWE in late 2023.

These four have been paired together in different tag matches at NXT live events recently, likely as a way to prepare them for this big reveal. Now, with their presence fully established on TV, the question remains—what do they want, and how will Oba Femi respond to their challenge?

After weeks of teases, the mysterious faction finally revealed itself at NXT Vengeance Day, attacking Fraxiom and NXT Champion Oba Femi.  WWE Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
