New Delhi: After successfully whitewashing Bangladesh 2-0 in the home Test series, India captain Rohit Sharma took some time off to head for a vacation. He jetted off to the Middle East and landed in Abu Dhabi to spend some quality time off the field. As soon as he made outings, pictures of him instantly went viral on the internet. Out of all his visits to the NBA Games Abu Dhabi grabbed major attention where he met several global personalities.
On Monday, the explosive opening batter took to his Instagram handle to share a few pictures from his recent Abu Dhabi trip, giving his fans official glimpses of his visit. In the pictures, he was seen donning chic attire, highlighting his vacay mode, and also shared a couple of pictures with her wife Ritika during his NBA Games visit. Fans are in love with the recently shared post which has already gained close to 18 lakh likes and massive comments.
It was a promotional post for “Experience Abu Dhabi”, as the post served as thanks from Rohit to the company for organising his trip. He captioned the post, “Thanks for a ballin’ trip @visitabudhabi.”

The Indian skipper, whose favourite football club happens to be Real Madrid, met the club’s legend, Iker Casillas. He posted a picture with the former goalkeeper which spread like wildfire on social media. He was also spotted next to Bollywood actress Disha Patani, who was gracing the NBA game on the same day as well. Other notable personalities were social media influence and Big Boss India fame Abdu Rozik who posed with the 37-year-old.

Back in action
Team India has eight Test matches lined up in the upcoming months starting with the three-match New Zealand Test series at home. The first Test will begin on October 16 in Bengaluru and the series will conclude on November 5. Rohit is expected to be back in action to lead the Indian team and will be a vital cog in the five-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy as well for which India will tour Australia that starts on November 21 in Perth.
