Chennai: AIADMK MLAs including Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami have been suspended for the rest of the current session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly on Wednesday, June 26. Ordering their eviction, Speaker M Appavu said since the AIADMK MLAs have been disrupting the proceedings of the House every day, they are being suspended. The current session lasts till Staturday (June 29) and the AIADMK MLAs cannot attend the session till that day.

After thier eviction, AIADMK MLAs raised slogans against DMK Government over Kallakurichi Hooch Tragedy and remand resignation of CM MK Stalin.

Earlier, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami along with other MLAs arrived at Tamil Nadu Assembly wearing black shirts as a mark of protest against the Kallakurichi hooch tragedy.
