SBI, BoB launch new FD schemes: Get as high as 7.75% interest rates

New Delhi: State-owned banks, State Bank of India (SBI) and Bank of Baroda (BoB) have launched special fixed deposit schemes to give higher interest rates to depositors. SBI, country’;s largest public sector bank, has introduced a new 444 days special fixed deposit scheme, while Bank of Baroda has rolled out the BoB Monsoon Dhamaka Deposit Scheme.

Bank of Baroda Monsoon Dhamaka FD Scheme

Bank of Baroda will allow account holders to open fixed deposits of two different tenures under the BoB Monsoon Dhamaka Deposit Scheme. First is for 333 days tenure, on which general citizens will get 7.15 per cent interest, while senior citizens will get 7.65 per cent rate of interest on FD of this particular tenure. Second FD scheme is for 399 days, general citizens are entitled to get 7.25 per cent rate of interest. while people aged 60 years and above will get 7.75 per cent return.

SBI FD scheme 444 days: Interest rate

State Bank of India’s newly launched 444 days special fixed deposit scheme assured 7.25 per cent rate of interest to depositors. This will be the highest term deposit interest rate for bank account holders on SBI FDs. SBI Amrit Kalash FD rate 2024

SBI’s 400 days (Amrit Kalash) special fixed deposit scheme’s last date is September 30, 2024. The bank gives 7.10 per cent rate of interest to general citizens, while senior citizens are entitled to get 7.60% interest rate.

SBI fixed deposit scheme for 5 years

On tax saver 5 year FDs, account holders get 6.50% interest. While, SBI fixed deposit scheme for 5 years carry a rate of interest of 7.5 per cent for senior citizens. Account holders get the option to open SBI tax saver 5 year FD for a tenure of 5 years to up to 10 years.
