Kolkata: Both the benchmark indices of the Indian stock market Sensex 30 and Nifty 50 opened in the green on Tuesday, June 10. At 9:15 am Sensex stood at 82,572.13 points, up 0.15%, Nifty 50 stood at 25,157.55 points, up 0.22%. However, both showed downward trend in the initial minutes but was rising again around 9:30 am. However, by 9:35 Sensex moved into the red, while Nifty 50 just managed to stay in the green.
Incidentally, the global cues were positive this morning. Most Asian indices were trading in the green and GIFT Nifty too was in the green. All three US indices Dow Jones, Nasdaq and S&P500 ended in the green on Monday, Tuesday 9.

According to the data on NSE, the early big gainers included MHLXMIRU, OCCL, AIROLAM, KOKUYOCLMN, LGHL, BAJAJINDEF, COFFEEDAY, UNITEDPOLY, CREATIVEYE, NAHARCAP.
The market on Monday
On Monday (June 9), the market began on a strong note on the back of positive global sentiment ahead of US-China trade discussion and robust US jobs data. There was also the tail of the RBI rate cut kick and some progress in US-India trade discussions. At the end of the day, Sensex rose 256.22 points (0.31%) and was at 82,445.21, while Nifty 50 jumped 100.15 points (0.40%) and stood at 25,103.20. BSE Mid Cap index rose 1.03% while the Small Cap index increased 1.19%. Kotak Mahindra (3.19%), Bajaj Finance (2.51%) and Axis Bank (2.06%) were the major gainers, while Eternal (1.95%), ICICI Bank (1.68%) and Titan (0.74%) were the major laggards in the Sensex basket.
