New Delhi: The fan-favorite Dagestani fighter Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov fought on August 3, Sunday in UFC Fight Night against Michal Oleksiejczuk. Magomedov easily defeated Oleksiejczuk via unanimous decision and didn’t concede any damage in the fight and now he is ready to return to the Octagon at the UFC 308 which is headlined by Ilia Topuria vs Max Holloway.
Magomedov will be fighting for the third time in the last five months, he spent just eight months in the promotion after his debut and is now among the top fighters to be active most in the UFC in recent times. Magomedov is undefeated in his professional career and now fights against Armen Petrosyan on the main card of UFC 308.
Petrosyan is a veteran in the UFC with an 8-3 record, he is coming from a loss against Rodolfo Vieira in February. Magomedov called out Nick Diaz in his last fight, Diaz is unactive in the promotion and he is known for his savage things in the UFC and his prime is also gone but the youngster called the veteran to fight him in Abu Dhabi. Diaz only fought twice in the last 8 years but Magomedov is excited for the matchup as fans can see a striker vs striker matchup.
UFC 308 main event
UFC featherweight Champion Ilia Topuria will be defending his title for the first time against UFC BMF Champion Max Holloway. Holloway recently knocked out Justin Gaethje to win his maiden UFC BMF title in the lightweight division. But now he is coming down to the featherweight division to win the championship that he wants to win for a longer period.
Holloway has an undefeated record against UFC featherweight fighters except former UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski who defeated him twice in the UFC. Topuria knocked out Volkanovski to win the title and is now the most exciting talent in the featherweight division. It will be a great matchup for the title at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi on October 27, Sunday.
