New Delhi: Karnataka sensation Smaran Ravichandran sizzled on Saturday during the Vijay Hazare Trophy final match against Vidarbha. The 21-year-old announced his arrival in style with sensational century during the final game after Karnataka batted first. His brilliant hundred powered Karnataka to a massive total of 348/6 in the stipulated 50 overs.
Coming out to bat when Karnataka were 67/3, Ravichandran, just 21, steadied the ship for his side reestablishing their position again in the crucial encounter after they faced big jolts. In just 92 deliveries, Ravichandran made 101 runs which included seven boundaries and three maximums. The dashing batter looked promising earlier as well in the semifinal clash as he scored 76 runs to power his team into the finale.

Abhinav Manohar, Krishnan Shrijith also shine
Apart from the young batter, Abhinav Manohar and Krishnan Shrijith also excelled with the bat as Karnataka posted a massive total, setting a dauting task for the opposition. While the former scored 79 runs, the latter came up with an excellent knock of 78 showcasing power-hitting at its best. Apart from these batters, skipper Mayank Agarawal also provided a little start at the beginning with a knock of 31 runs. Rest of the batters could not show up against the bowlers in the first innings.
