New Delhi: Indian indices arrested a 6-day decline as the Sensex and Nifty bounced back to close higher on Tuesday. The 30-share Sensex was up 584.81 points to 81,634.81, while the Nifty closed at 25,013.15, up 713.28 points. All eyes will be on the concluding remarks of the RBI’s monetary policy committee meeting which ends on Wednesday. Embassy REIT: The company said it had raised Rs 2,000 crore to pay non-convertible debentures with maturities in October.
IRB Infra: The company reported a 19 per cent rise in toll revenue in September 2024 to Rs 502 crore, compared to Rs 421 crore in the year ago period.
IRFC: The railway PSU company gave a green signal for the financing of 20 Bogie Open Bottom Rapid rakes as part of the Indian Railways’ General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme. NTPC will extend the Rs 700 crore credit line via financial lease, according to an exchange filing.
Ola Electric: The EV maker received a show cause notice for an alleged consumer rights violation from the Central Consumer Protection Authority. The comoany also received a notice seeking explanations regarding allegations of misleading ads and unfair trade practices, according to an exchange filing.
Mahindra and Mahindra: The vehicles to tech conglomerate received an outperform rating from brokerage CLSA which raised its target price to Rs 3,400 apiece. Earlier, CLSA maintained the rating at Sell.
Saregama India: the company clarified on media reports regarding the potential acquisition of filmmaker Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions that it will make due disclosures as and when required.
Torrent Power: The comoany secured a letter of award for supply of 2,000 MW of energy storage capacity from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.
Vedanta: The mining giant rescheduled its October 9 board meeting citing unforeseen circumstances, according to a regulatory filing.
