All eyes will be on the RIL AGM as markets enter the penultimate day of trading. Here are stocks that are likely to remain in focus on Thursday, August 29, 2024:

Indian Oil: The oil major’s mineral exploration contract has been joined by Nalco’s joint venture KABIL.

IndiGo: The air carrier’s co-founder Rakesh Gangwal is likely to sell his shares worth $850 million in a block deal on Friday, CNBCTV18 reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

KEC International: The infrastructure company secured new orders worth Rs 1,171 crore in the transmission and distribution vertical in the Middle East region.

NLC India: The renewable power company said it had inked an agreement with the Telangana government for the supply of 200 MW of solar power at competitive prices.

PB Fintech: Chinese tech giant Tencent is eyeing a 2.1 per cent stake sale in PB Fintech, NDTV Profit reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Welspun Living: The company’s promoter is likely to sell a 4.6 per cent stake in Welspun Living through block deals, CNBCTV18 reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

PFC and REC: Swiss brokerage UBS initiated coverage on the power finance companies.

RIL: Reliance Industries’ share price will be in focus on Thursday as the company will hold its annual general meeting on August 29, 2024. The merger of its media company with Disney’s Indian arm has been cleared by the Competition Commission of India.

Tata Steel: The company acquired over 178 lakh shares worth $280 million in T Steel Holdings.

Vedanta: The commodities giant’s board will consider a third interim dividend on September 2, 2024, according to an exchange filing.

VLS Finance: The company has decided to buy back 33 lakh shares valued at up to RS 125 crore from August 30, 2024.
