New Delhi: Vinit Bolinjkar, Research Analyst, Ventura Securities Ltd, has recommended stocks that investors can keep in their portfolio if Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns to power after the Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results are declared on June 3, 2024. The expert suggested buying shares of Sunteck Realty, Container Corporation, ONGC, Marico, Gail, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank, Steel Strips Wheels, PNB Housing if Modi-led BJP wins Lok Sabha Election 2024.
Being highly bullish on prospects of India’s equity market under Modi era, the expert said, “The Modi regime will be best phase of the market for wealth creation. I suggest people to remain invested in stocks for maximum gains.”
Also for those who are sceptical regarding equity markets hitting all time high levels on Monday, i.e. June 03, 2024, he said such investors can book partial profits. Bolinjkar added, “One may book partial profits as we have seen good rally.”
However, the market expert expected the rally to continue from the current levels in the long term. He advised investors to not withdraw their entire holdings. “One may not cash out completely as this rally is expected to continue its run once officially tomorrow the actual counting confirms the exit poll results,” he advised investors.
The 30-share BSE Sensex closed more than three per cent higher above 76,460 points. While, the 50 constituent Nifty also jumped three per cent to close above 23,260 points.
Stocks to buy if Modi Govt returns
Sunteck Realty share price
Bolinjkar was bullish on Sunteck Realty and advised the investors to set the target price at Rs 800. Although the scrip has gained 66 per cent in last one year, he expects the counter to surge further from current levels for next two years. The scrip closed at Rs 473 apiece on Monday, June 03, 2024.
Container Corporation share price
Bolinjkar’s second pick is a PSU stock, Container Corporation. He gave a price target of Rs 1,500 on the scrip. On Monday, the scrip jumped 10 per cent and closed at Rs 1,177 on the BSE.
Buy Call on ONGC
Bolinjkar expected ONGC to gain further and touch Rs 350 in the future. The scrip jumped eight per cent and closed at Rs 282 apiece on 3rd June.
Marico
Bolinjkar’s fourth pick is FMCG player, Marico, on which he suggested the target price to be set at Rs 800. On Monday, the scrip closed at Rs 599 on the BSE.
Gail share price target
Giving a Buy call on Gail, Bolinjkar said investors can pump in their money in buying the stock of the gas distribution company. He advised the shareholders to remain invested in the stock for next two years with a price target of Rs 280.
HDFC Bank share price
The stock market expert gave a Buy rating on HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector lender. He expected the stock to hit a target of Rs 1,800 in the next two years. On Monday, the HDFC Bank share price closed three per cent higher at Rs 1,573. In last one year, the stock is down two per cent.
Bharti Airtel share news
Bolinjkar was bullish on telecom player, Bharti Airtel. He predicted the stock to achieve a target price of Rs 1,600. Bharti Airtel share price closed at Rs 1400 on NSE on June 3.
Steel Strips Wheels
The research analyst advised investors to hold on to their Steel Strips Wheels Ltd stocks. He predicted the counter to touch a target price of Rs 1,200 with two years time period.
PNB Housing share price
Bolinjkar advised investors to keep PNB Housing in their portfolio for the next two years. He expects the scrip to to hit a price target of Rs 1,100 in two years from now. The stock closed at Rs 735 on NSE on 3rd June.
