New Delhi: One of the greatest WWE fighters, Stone Cold Steve Austin had an aura in WWE. Steve Austin provided some coolest moments in WWE history. The most famous promo in WWE history ‘The Austin 3:16″ promo was considered as one of the best promos in wrestling.

It was a moment where Steve Austin’s career took a fly, It happened in the King of the Ring match where Triple H won the match but he was punished for The Kliq’s ‘curtain call’ incident in Madison Square Garden. Austin was declared as the winner after that call, but after this decision, Austin cut the most famous promo in WWE history. It was called as ‘The 3:16 Promo’.

Austin was taunting Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts saying prayers will not give him anything and then delivered the famous “Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass”. This phrase came after Austin was inspired by John 3:16 verse. The verse was used by Christians to describe their point of view on the religion.

After this promo, In the next WWE RAW episode everyone was saying out loud ‘Austin’ and everybody had an “Austin 3:16 sign. After that Attitude Era started and Sone Cold’s mighty run started in WWE.

The Austin 3:16 promo was considered as the greatest promo ever in WWE history. It also looked interesting because this promo clicked at the right time in wrestling history. Fans weren’t much interested in WWE at that time but this promo pulled up the crowd in large numbers.

After this promo, Steve Austin won the Royal Rumble thrice in 1997,1998 and 2001. He also won the WWF Championship six times and the WWF Intercontinental Championship twice in his career. He also won the Slammy award two times in his legendary career. He had a great run in WWE career and fans will be eager to see his comeback in WrestleMania.
