IIFL Finance share price is in focus today a day after the company announced that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted the restrictions on its gold loan business. The stock was trading with over 10 per cent gains in the early trade. The central bank in March had prohibited the company from sanctioning, disbursing, or assigning/ securitising/ selling any of its gold loans.
“The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), through its communication dated September 19, 2024, has lifted the restrictions imposed on the gold loan business of IIFL Finance Ltd,” IIFL Finance informed the exchanges.
