New Delhi: UFC 304 will take place in Co-op Live, Manchester, England on July 28. British fans will be very excited for the UFC return in England. The local boy Welterweight Champion Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards will defend his title against Belal Muhammad in the main event of UFC 302.
Rocky is on a four-fight winning streak, he is coming from defending his title against Colby Covington where he won the bout by unanimous decision. Leon will keen on performing in front of his home fans and wanted to prove his worth in the Welterweight division. Whereas Belal is also on a five-fight winning streak, he defeated everybody in the division and proved himself every time he is the next best contender for the title.
In the first bout between both the fighters the fight ended up as a no-contest match, it was an accidental eye poke by Leon which Belal couldn’t carry himself to fight.
In the co-main event, another local boy Interm Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall will defend his title against Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall is coming from a win against Sergei Pavlovich where he won the Interm belt. It is also the second fight between both of them, the first bout was won by Blaydes by TKO in round 1 but this time Aspinall will be prepared to perform in front of home fans.
