New Delhi: UFC 306 at Sphere was announced to kick-off on Mexican Independence Day on September 14 but Mexican star boxer Canelo Alvarez announced his next fight against Edgar Berlanga for the super middleweight title on September 14 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Alvarez is competing in his 66th professional boxing match and currently holds 61-2-2 in his boxing career, he is also on a four-win streak and fighting second time this year. His opponent Berlanga is undefeated in his boxing career, he holds a 22-0 record and this will be the biggest opportunity in his boxing career. Alvarez is now 34 years old while his opponent Berlanga is just 27 years old, it will be an interesting match up for super middleweight Champion.
