New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget 2024-25 on July 23, 2024. The Modi 3.0 Government will present its full budget for the financial year at 11 am. Sitharaman will present the Budget in Lok Sabha on July 23 and in Rajya Sabha on July 24.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed that President Droupadi Murmu has approved his government’s proposal to summon both – Lower House and Upper House for the Budget Session 2024 from July 22 to 12th August, 2024.
“Hon’ble President of India, on the recommendation of Government of India, has approved the proposal for summoning of both the Houses of Parliament for the Budget Session, 2024 from 22nd July, 2024 to 12 August, 2024 (Subject to exigencies of Parliamentary Business). Union Budget, 2024-25 will be presented in Lok Sabha on 23 July, 2024,” Rijiju posted on X.

Sitharaman presented the Interim Budget in February which was a vote on account owing to the Lok Sabha election 2024 that were scheduled in April and May. The upcoming Budget 2024 will be the first budget presented by the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in its third term.
