Ashish Nehra said that instead of playing these two veterans, it was the perfect chance for Gambhir to try out new players. There are so many of them in the Team India bench currently, and they may not get to play even one match. This includes Rishabh Pant, Khaleel Ahmed, Riyan Parag, and Harshit Rana. These young players would not be thanking Kohli or Sharma for turning up in SL.
