WATCH: Jadon Sancho steals the show with brilliant Chelsea assist against Palace

New Delhi: Jadon Sancho’s latest assist for Chelsea was a thing of beauty. The winger set up Cole Palmer to open the scoring in their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, showcasing a piece of skill that left Palace defenders struggling to cope. This moment could easily be considered his best contribution in a Chelsea shirt so far.

It all began when Levi Colwill played the ball to Sancho on the halfway line. Without hesitation, Sancho let the ball roll through his legs, leaving Palace’s Chris Richards confused and out of position.

As Richards scrambled, Sancho quickly spun past him, picked up the ball, and surged forward into the box. Three defenders closed in, but Sancho managed to slide a perfectly weighted pass to Palmer, who calmly finished past the goalkeeper to give Chelsea the lead.

This assist marked Sancho’s sixth for Chelsea in just 15 appearances, an impressive tally considering he only managed six assists during his entire 83-game spell at Manchester United.

What’s more, four of those assists have come in the Premier League, already surpassing his previous best for United. Sancho has quietly become one of Chelsea’s most consistent attacking threats, outshining some of his fellow wingers like Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku, with more starts under his belt than many expected.

Sancho’s time at United was a difficult one, and his loan move to Chelsea was met with some skepticism. But with each passing game, it’s clear he’s finding his rhythm in London. His assist against Crystal Palace shows just how much he’s settled in, and with his growing confidence, Chelsea fans can expect even more from him in the coming weeks.
