New Delhi: Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan resurrected his team’s innings in the first Test against Bangladesh thanks to his career-best score of 171. Pakistan declared their innings at 448 for 6 on the morning of Friday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with Rizwan walking off the pitch as unbeaten.
While Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi were on their way to the pavilion, the Pakistan fielders were charging up to enter the field. Star batter Babar Azam, who registered his eighth Test duck in the first innings, welcomed Rizwan at the boundary. The Pakistan keeper threw the bat to his good friend before having a few words leading to a mirth. As Rizwan walked off, Babar patted on his back before they gathered on the field for the team huddle.
