New Delhi: Indian shuttler PV Sindhu and Venkata Datta Sai made their first public appearance together after their dreamy wedding in Udaipur. The star couple were caught by the shutterbugs at the Hyderabad airport on December 23, Monday after returning from Udaipur, where the pair tied the knot on Sunday in the iconic Rajasthan city.
Sindhu, dressed in a pretty salwar suit was seen exiting the airport with Sai, dressed in a white kurta pyjama and a purple Nehru Jacket.
Earlier on Monday, Sindhu and her fiance’s wedding pic surfaced on social media which showed Sindhu, dressed in traditional wedding attire, exchanging vows in the presence of their families and close friends.

PV Sindhu and Venkatta Datta to throw starry reception on December 24
The wedding festivities will continue in Hyderabad, Sindhu’s hometown where the couple will host a a reception party on December 24. Meanwhile, the pre-wedding celebrations started in Hyderabad on December 20 with the traditional Sangeet, Haldi, Pellikuthuru and Mehendi ceremonies.
According to Sindhu’s father, even though the two families are well acquainted the wedding plans were finalised within a month. Sindhu’s training and competition schedule was a major reason behind the chosen wedding date.
On the court, Sindhu ended her 2-year long Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour drought by winning the Syed Modi India International badminton tournament in Lucknow on December 1. Sindhu defeated China’s Wu Luo Yu in the finals of the BWF Super 300 event.
Before the Syed Modi title, Sindhu’s last title was at the Singapore Open in July 2022.
