Suryakumar Yadav, who is habitual of making to the headlines, whether through his explosive knocks or sweet gestures, grabbed attention of all after he extended a heartwarming gesture for his fellow teammate and friend Sanju Samson. It was the third and final ODI of the series at the Greenfield International Stadium in Kerala when he won the hearts of all the city people with his priceless reaction to a person asking for Sanju Samson.
Suryakumar Yadav’s sweet gesture for Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson, who was part of the T20I series, could not be picked for the ODI series as he suffered an injury while fielding at the boundary ropes. Suryakumar Yadav, who was positioned near the boundary ropes in the third ODI game, heard the Sanju Sanju… chants echoing from the stands. These chants obviously grabbed Suryakumar’s attention and he turned back to listen at what the crowd was saying.
Among the numerous chants, there was one which caught the attention of the entire crowd and of course Suryakumar Yadav after one of the fans asked ‘Where is Sanju?’ In one of the most heartwarming and sweet gestures, pointed his hands towards his heart saying that ‘Sanju Samson is in our hearts’. As soon as this sweet gesture came from Suryakumar Yadav, the entire crowd heartly appreciated the move and reciprocated with a loud cheer.
